The Arrow Group was initiated in 1984 by Ron Anderson and Bob Foster when they started Arrow International Limited (AIL).  AIL now has branches throughout New Zealand, Australia and works in the South Pacific and occasionally further a field.

In addition to AIL, the Arrow Group is involved in a number of property venture and development companies having once owned a hotel, a gold mine, a horse trekking company and other tourism ventures.

Today the Group has been rationalised to focus on Construction and Property and divested any ventures not directly related to these.
